Required Fields

Some Master Records allow you to set a Required Field that will have to be populated before the record can be Approved except for Equipment records, which will be on the Save. (Equipment records do not have an Approval box)

To Access the Required Fields, from the Home screen select Tools - Required Fields - Record type


 Below is an example of the Instrument screen. There will be two sections, one for Database Fields and one for User Defined Variables



Use the arrows to move values.


Check Requirements

With a master record on the screen select Edit - Check Requirements. Also, if you start the Approval of a record and all Required Fields are not populated you will receive a warning. See below
