On the Company screen, Options tab, there is an option to "Prevent Modification of Exported Records"

When this is checked and you have Exported records, those records cannot be modified until either they are Imported back in to the database or the Export Date(s) are reset. If you are using Change Control for any record types, those records will not be affected.

When a record has been exported, and this option is turned on, you will not be able to modify the record. If you need to modify the Exported record, you can do one of the following:

  • Perform an Import - This will bring the data back in to the database.
  • Reset the Export Date
    • Reset All Export Dates - From the Home screen select Tools - Reset Export Dates. This will open a new screen, see below.

By selecting "Reset Dates" it will Reset all records related to the Export.

  • Reset a Date on a specific record - Navigate to the record that you would like to modify and using the chart below, navigate to the specified Tab to select the "Reset Date Exported". After you save this change you will be able to modify that record normally.
